g2 are assisting a client who are searching for a HSE Expert to assist with a construction site in Köln.

Our client are operating a major LNG project currently in early stages and due to last another 2 years. The chosen candiate will be responsible for the management of subcontractors, heavy lifting operations, scaffolding and PTW systems.

Start: 1st December 2024

Location: Cologne

Contract Length: 26 Months

Site Expectation: Mon - Fri (10 Hours per day)

Rate: €450 - 500 per day.

Required Experience:

  • 5 - 10 Years HSE / Site Management experience
  • Right to work in Germany.
  • Knowledge of German safety legislation.
  • English & German communication skills (B1 minimum).

Experience with following tasks:

  • Heavy Lifting Operations.
  • Scaffolding.
  • Permits to work.

The chosen candidate's rate can be led by their experience, current daily rate and how often they can attend sites.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
