Operations Manager

Our client are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join their team based in the East Gelderland region, Netherlands on a permanent basis.

They are particularly interested in candidates with a background working with engineering, manufacturing or production companies, having worked on coordinating everyday operations of a business, and a background of good technical understanding.

The preference would be for an Operations Manager with Engineering for Design, Procurement and Manufacturing/Fabrication experience on equipment delivery for the international market.

LOCATION: Apeldoorn Region, Gelderland, Netherlands

START: ASAP

SALARY: €7,000 - €9,000 per month + package

Operations Manager:

  • 10+ years' experience covering engineering, operations management, and manufacturing
  • Equipment manufacturing experience, preferably in highly regulated industries
  • Engineering or technical background, technical mechanical/process background most applicable
  • Management of multiple teams within a business is beneficial
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Understanding of business systems, practices and procedures
  • Any experience supporting growth of revenue and/or headcount

The client has advised that there is an immediate requirement for the operations manager to join their team, and will be in charge of the day to day running of the business, maintaining contact with directors and clients consistently.

The client is happy to see CVs for candidates who are living in the Netherlands already, or are willing to relocate to the East Gelderland region.

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
