Team Lead Mechanical Engineer

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in the South Holland region, near Dordrecht, Netherlands.

They are a market leader in the power generation industry, supplying engines to the offshore and marine industries within the Netherlands.

They are particularly interested in candidates with experience heavy industrial, offshore or marine industries, working on engineering, designs and delivery for engines and power generators.

THE CLIENT WILL CONSIDER PERMANENT CANDIDATES, NOT FREELANCE

START: November, December 2024

LOCATION: Rotterdam area, near Dordrecht, Netherlands

SALARY/PACKAGE: €6,000 - €7,500 per month + 8% + bonus + package

Team Lead Mechanical Engineer

  • Lead Mechanical Engineer with experience managing personnel
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in the offshore/marine industry - experience in power generation is beneficial
  • Knowledge of design engineering tools, Inventor, Vault and AutoCAD (Solidworks also applicable)
  • Any experience in a client facing role is beneficial
  • Fluent English and professional Dutch (B1/B2 and above) required

The client has advised they have flexible working available both in terms of hours and working from home twice a week.

The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the South Holland region.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
