Commissioning Engineer

We are currently collaborating with a client in the Utilities Industry looking for multiple Commissioning Operators one of the three being more of a lead. You will need to have mechanical and hands on technical experience to be able to assist on the Power Plant. This an exciting opportunity to work on a gas & steam turbine for the client.

Contract length: 12 months + (Full time)

Contract type: Freelance

Location: Munich

Expectations on the role:

Preparing:

  • Reviewing of planning Documents
  • Developing detailed BOP (commissioning) parting system
  • Coordinate testing & material requirements

Execution:

  • overseeing the commissioning of the system
  • take part in it and analyse the data and identify and solve critical conditions.
  • proposed corrective action based on this data and the identification of critical conditions and then implement continuous optimisation strategies

For the Lead role: same as above

  • More detailed in engaging with project coordinators to execute tasks accurately and timely.
  • manage and serve as a technical authority.
  • Taking ownership and making sure the system works.

Operational Conditions:

  • Routine daily shifts can be extended like 24/7 operation, safety and regulation compliance

Must have:

  • Commissioning Gas + Steel Turbine
  • Mechanical expertise, PCS 7 control systems (Siemens) and T3000 also nice to have
  • English, German is nice to have

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
