Senior Project Developer

Join g2's client in the renewable industry and help them drive sustainable projects through the development phase.

Our client who is based in North Brabant is currently looking for a Senior Project Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. The client is an asset owner, so an ideal candidate would understand the process from the client side for the industrial sectors covering district heating, utilities and oil & gas.

The client is specifically looking for a Senior Project Developer who has experience taking a project from FID through investment, permitting, pre-feed etc.

Salary: €80,000-€95,000 per annum + 8% holiday allowance + 10% bonus (company car, pension scheme)

Location: North Brabant, Netherlands (availability to work hybrid)

The client would be interested in any Senior Project Developer who has experience delivering projects from cradle to grave, covering stakeholder management, permitting, budgeting etc. the specific focus will be taking project concepts through to FID.

Essential Skills:

  • Asset owner (client side) Project Manager, Project Development, Project Delivery
  • Working history with national or international clients
  • Experience delivering technical engineering energy projects (power generation, renewable, biogas, onshore wind, chemical, petrochemical exploration, district heating etc)
  • Technical engineering or commercial background
  • Ability to manage a project from concept through to FID
  • Stakeholder management - internal and external
  • Commercial acumen - working with senior management team and investment partners
  • Fluent English and Dutch skills are essential

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
