Construction Manager

g2 Recruitment have a new opportunity for Dutch and English-speaking freelance Construction Managers to join a leading player in the construction industry for a large- new build project in Limburg.

Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: Limburg, Netherlands

Length: 14 months

Rates up to 130 ( Depending on relevant skills + experience)

As a Construction Manager for the new factory project in Limburg, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of this exciting new facility.

You will manage an on-site team and report directly to the Construction Director, ensuring that all phases of the construction process are executed effectively, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed project planning, coordination, and scheduling for the construction of the new factory
  • On-site management and supervision of all construction activities, including subcontractors and vendors
  • Enforcing rigorous health and safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel
  • Managing quality assurance and control throughout all stages of the construction process to ensure high standards
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Managing resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery

You Will Need:

  • Fluency in both Dutch and English
  • At least 5 years' experience as a construction manager, with a focus on large-scale industrial projects (preferably factory or manufacturing plant construction)
  • Extensive experience in managing construction projects from the ground up, including both greenfield developments and facility expansions
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, infrastructure, and relevant industry safety regulations
  • Proven ability to promote and enforce health and safety best practices on-site
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, including planning, budgeting, and resource management

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
