Electrical Engineer

G2 Recruitment are looking for Electrical Engineers that are experienced in both High Voltage and Medium Voltage projects, to join my client based in either Utrecht/Rotterdam/Dordrecht.

The client is looking to build out their team working on clean energy projects, you would be involved in clean energy production, green and blue projects, battery storage and solar farms.

The client is an international consulting and construction company, requiring electrical HV & MV specialists with projects experience to support them through engineering, design, and construction projects.

The role would be to work as an electrical engineer, covering electrical design, engineering, and package engineering for LV, MV and HV networks (onsite, not transmission) and HV Equipment (Substations etc).

Electrical HV Engineer - Electrical MV Engineer - Specification:

START: February/March

LOCATION: Dordrecht, Utrecht, Rotterdam, or Home-Based Working

SALARIES: €55,000 - €90,000 per annum + 8% and generous package

Essential Skills:

Electrical Engineering background (HV, MV, LV) - 1-10+ years' experience

Engineering and design experience (ideally projects experience)

Experience working on industrial / chemical / energy / power plant projects.

HV or MV Power, infrastructure, site distribution or transmission experience

Ability to work on concepts, basic engineering and detailed design, packages for vendors.

Understanding of engineering analysis software for electrical calculations

Fluent English speaking - The ambition to learn Dutch or speak Dutch already is essential.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
