Electrical Inspector

g2 Recruitment are looking for an Electrical Engineer to work on Offshore Projects to join my client based in either out of their offices in Rotterdam and/or Amsterdam.

The client is specifically looking for electrical specialist with installation backgrounds, ideally working within ATEX environments, to join my clients and work as offshore inspectors - supporting Dutch offshore Oil & Gas projects.

The role would be to work as an electrical inspector, covering electrical installation inspection, analysis and reporting for the offshore industry - Dutch offshore sector.

Electrical Inspector - Offshore Inspection - Specification:

START: December or January

LOCATION: Home Based - Offshore Inspections (10 day mobilisations)

SALARIES: €4,000 - €6,000 per month + offshore rates

Essential Skills:

Electrical Engineering background (HV, MV, LV) - 1-5+ years' experience

Experience working on offshore RIGs / industrial / chemical / energy / power plant projects.

Understanding of electrical installations, commissioning or testing/checking

Fluent English speaking - Dutch conversational

Happy to work off-shore

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
