Engineering Technical Lead

g2 Recruitment are currently looking for an electrical technical lead engineer to join my client on a permanent basis, the client is based in the Arnhem region, Netherlands, with a 50/50 split of home-based working.

The client is looking for an electrical power systems engineer that has experience with conceptual designs, ideally working on vehicle type projects (land based, aerospace or space), any experience with vehicle-based power systems, batteries and/or engines.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly regulated industry (defence, aerospace, and space engineering), the client is working on cutting edge technology projects and you would join one of their technical divisions.

The client will consider candidates who would work onsite or remotely/hybrid. Dutch speaking is required.

Electrical Technical Lead Engineer: Specification

START: January/February/March

LOCATION: Arnhem, Netherlands (Hybrid working 50/50 split)

RATES: €5000 - €6500 per month + excellent package

Electrical Engineering - Power Engineer - Land or Air Systems

Specification:

Electrical engineering, concept, or electrical design experience.

Experience with conceptual engineering, engineering layouts and specifications.

5+ Years design or engineering experience - ideally with some delivery experience

Experience with any of the following (electrical layout, wiring design, electrical schematics, or P&IDs)

Ideally experience with low voltage electrical projects, power electronic or vehicle-based power systems. The client will also consider the marine sector.

The client is working on a broad range of projects, covering engineering for concept development for new systems, you would be supporting their teams working with electrical, electronic and systems engineering.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
