Environment, Health and Safety Manager

g2 Recruitment are looking for a HSE manager for a Large Industrial client of mine based in the Mechelen area to join on a permanent basis. This role is to be the HSE manager for a large industrial production site of over 600 workers.

They are currently looking for a HSEQ manager to work on a permanent basis they are looking for someone to start within the coming months and take over as the HSE manager for their production facility, you would be responsible for increasing the safety awareness on site, monitoring and improving safety KPI's and a large amount of Stakeholder management across many internal teams.

For the position you would be part of the Sites management team reporting directly to the Site Operations manager. And would be responsible for all HSE aspects for the site (risk analysis, incident investigations, Toolbox meetings etc.)

START: December/ January

LOCATION: Mechelen, Belgium

Specification:

  • At least 3 years' experience within HSE management
  • Preventieadviseur level 1 Qualification
  • Experience within production site HSE Activities
  • Experienced in not only site based HSE activities but also Office/ Administration
  • Ability to communicate efficiently across multiple departments
  • Past experience leading a HSE team onsite.

Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
