Environment, Health and Safety Manager
One of our client is looking for a HSE Manager / Prevention Advisors 1 their site in West Belgium, Near Kortrijk - Walloon Region.
The client is an end client plant owner and operator, you would be working on the client side on a permanent basis. The client operates within the FMCG sector.
LOCATION:North West Walloon, Belgium
SECTOR:FMCG - Pharma, Beverage, Food, Process Manufacturing considered
Specification:
- HSSE/EHS/HSE technical background with relevant certification
- Relevant HSE certification, qualified for site-based working (PA1/HVK or similar certificates)
- Experience managing operational and strategic HSE teams
- Knowledge of client side/operator working practices
- ISO14001/ ISO45001
- Strong hands on safety management experience
- Experience with HSE Management Systems, Strategy and Roll Outs
- Fluent in French is essential
Duties: HSE Manager
- Work to enhance the HSE site, daily site walks, safety check-ins
- Hold a strategic view of plant based and corporate safety
- Help to guide safety strategy, implementation of strategy and training
- Communication onsite, with safety committee and internal management teams
- Help to roll out standardised onboarding throughout the HSE team
- Drive life saving standards within the business
- Review documentation - projects and corporate
- Attend investigations as required
- Safety behaviour program management
- Act as a strong leader with the HSE regional team
The client is specifically looking for candidates who would join their management team, you would be tasked with managing HSE resource, supporting operational and strategic HSE,supporting a national management structure and developing HSE strategy to drive towards life saving standards.
