FF&E Designer

Freelance FF&E Designer - High-End Hospitality
Rate: £200-£250 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 3 days in office (London), 2 days remote
Contract Type: Freelance

We're working with a leading interior design studio specialising in high-end hospitality projects who are looking for a talented Freelance FF&E Designer to support their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on premium hospitality environments alongside an award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing, selecting, and specifying FF&E items for luxury hospitality projects

  • Producing detailed FF&E documentation, mood boards, and presentations

  • Coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed

  • Supporting the design team with CAD drawings and 3D visuals where necessary

  • Managing and maintaining sample libraries and procurement schedules

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in FF&E design, specifically within high-end hospitality

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong knowledge of suppliers, materials, finishes, and fabrication methods

  • Exceptional eye for detail and design aesthetics

  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Must have access to and use own software and hardware

Working Arrangement:

  • Hybrid setup: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

  • Must be able to attend in-person meetings as needed

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

Kane joined g2 in April 2023 as an Academy & Systems Trainer.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
