Role – Finance Business Partner – Systems
Salary – £48,474 – £51,515 per/annum
Client – Local Authority in Yorkshire
Type of Role – Permanent Only
Working Pattern – 1 day per/week in office for Team collaboration purposes.

My local authority client in Yorkshire are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their Systems function due to a change in team structure.

The role will see you involved in managing BAU projects and be in charge of a large System upgrade for Agresso Unit4 ERP in the coming months.

You will also be in charge of managing the help desk function who field circa 800 calls per/month.

You will be in charge of managing a small team of 5 staff. The team is made up of 2 Deputy FBP’s that look after a System each (1 does Agresso and 1 does iTrent), 1 x 1st Line Support Officer, 1 x 2nd Line Support Officer and there is 1 vacant role as a Helpdesk Analyst that is to be filled soon.

To be considered for this role:
– You will need to be at a minimum fully qualified AAT or CCAB (preference).
– Have previous local authority experience as a Senior Accountant of Finance Business Partner within a Systems Team.
– Have strong Finance Systems knowledge and previous knowledge or working experience with Agresso Unit4.
– Be confident in managing a small team and being part of a management team within a local authority.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
