Health Safety Environment Coordinator

EHS Team Leader (MVK) opportunity to join our client on their production facility in Rotterdam, Schiedam region.

The role would require a HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Team Leader join them to support ongoing operations onsite, work creating safety procedures, documentation and safety management. The client is an equipment manufacturing company working within the industrial space.

START: February, March or April 2025

SALARY: €5,000 - €7,000 per month + 8% holiday + Package

LOCATION: Rotterdam Region, Schiedam Area - Netherlands

Specification: EHS Leader

- Build documentation, standards, process and procedures from the ground up

- Set and deliver strategy for the EHS team and company

- Roll out training for EHS within the business across teams

- Document management, operational EHS support, site audits

- Support for the company to stay in line with Dutch legislation

- Reporting into the director of operations

- Onsite EHS support for operations and production teams

Requirements:Conversational Dutch Required

- Dutch Speaking - B1/B2

- MVK Level

- Knowledge of Dutch regulations, able to speak with Dutch authorities

- Industrial production type experience or background

The client has an immediate vacancy and are able to interview over the coming weeks, they would be happy for the successful candidate to mobilise at your earliest convenience. Ideally beginning work onsite from February onwards.

The role requires a EHS Team Leader who is confident in advising on HSE standards, procedures and adherence to local and Dutch requirements. The HSE Team Leader will work in direct support of the Head of Operations.

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
