Health Safety Environment Coordinator

REQUIRED 1 x QHSE coordinator - Medior Level

LOCATION: Antwerp, Belgium

START: April/ May/ June

SALARY: 55 000e- 62 000e/ year + Package

The client is a supplier and leader within the chemical industry in the region of Antwerp, Belgium and is looking for a QHSE coordinator to join their team.

Your main duties will be maintaining and improving the performance of the company, work on the foundation for the management system, provide advice, and coordinate internal & external audits and inspections, including all associated tasks and responsibilities.

What you would need:

  • Great experience in risk management
  • Prevention advisor level 2/ MVK holder
  • Great understanding of ISO9001
  • Strong understanding of the regulation for hazardous substance transportation
  • Professional experience of at least 3+ years as a HSE coordinator within the chemical industry
  • Professional English and Dutch is mandatory - Other languages appreciated

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
