g2 Recruitment currently looking for a process safety engineer to join my client based in Belgium, the client has a central office in Antwerp and other offices on the West side of Antwerp.
The role will be on a hybrid basis with work from your home location, their engineering office in Antwerp and site, which is on the West side of Antwerp.
The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience covering process safety within syngas or cryogenic projects for onshore process plants. They are working on a broad range of engineering projects covering brownfield and greenfield plants.
THE CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR FREELANCE CANDIDATES - 2.5 Year Projects - Dutch Speaking
START: January
DURATION: 2.5-3 years
LOCATION: Antwerp, Belgium (site-based opportunity)
WORK PATTERN: Flexible on hours - Primarily working onsite (engineering office)
Process Safety Engineer - Safety Engineer
- Process Safety, Safety Engineering Background
- Highly regulated projects experience (ideally onshore process plants, plant optimisation or expansions)
- Process Engineer or Process Safety Background
- Knowledge of HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA type studies
- Working history in safety critical environments (ATEX/ DSEAR etc..)
- Dutch and English language skills for the project communication
- Any knowledge with syngas or cryogenic projects are very beneficial, not essential
The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for a safety engineer, process safety engineer to join their teams, they have the opportunity to interview and offer the successful candidate next week.
They also work on a flexible working hours, but this would be a site based role.
The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Belgium already or would be prepared to move to the Antwerp region.
