Essential Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX for 3D modeling, assemblies, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design and integration within aerospace applications.
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, including precision machining, sheet metal, and composites.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulations
- Experience with lightweight materials such as aluminum, titanium, and composite structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings for aerospace components using Siemens NX.
- Optimize designs for weight, functionality, and manufacturability while ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Design components that integrate seamlessly with other subsystems, including structural, electrical, and thermal systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall system requirements.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet manufacturing standards.
- Ensure all designs comply with aerospace industry standards and certification requirements.
