Mechanical Engineer
Our Client is Currently looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer.
With relevant mechanical engineering experience within the Oil and Gas Industry to join my client in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The client is particularly interested in FREELANCE candidates with experience covering mechanical, chemical and petrochemical sector. Any work within the oil and gas sector is specifically beneficial.
The client is specially looking for a candidate who will be playing a critical role in supporting their facilities, CAPEX and OPEX projects.
Start: November, December
Location: Netherlands, Rotterdam
Duration: 12 months
Work Pattern: Flexible on home / office working - Flexible on hours
Skills Required:
Technical engineering background - degree qualified engineer (BSc or HBO, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or process engineering
Working history in the Chemical, Petrochemical or onshore industries
Engineering, equipment or projects experience with static and/or rotating equipment
Experience working with engineering and projects teams
Any knowledge of concept, pre-FEED, FEED or EPC project phases
The client is specifically working on a major brownfield EPC project, you will be involved from the early conceptual stages, supporting through concept through to detailed engineering stages over the next 12 months. There will then be the option to extend following through to the procurement and construction phases.
The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in the Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the Netherlands.
