Mechanical Project Engineer
Our client is a growing equipment manufacturer in the Oil & Gas industry, and now need a Mechanical Project Engineer to help them on their growth trajectory.
The client manufacture skid packages for end clients in the Oil & Gas sector, and are particularly interested in candidates with experience working with compressors, pumps, piping and P&IDs in either Oil & Gas or other similar highly regulated industries.
This is a varied role in which you will be focusing on technical design engineering for mechanical equipment, as well as supporting the project management team and liaising with clients.
THE CLIENT WILL CONSIDER PERMANENT CANDIDATES, NOT FREELANCE - English Speaking
START: March, April, May 2025
LOCATION: Utrecht area, Netherlands
WORK PATTERN: 1x day a week from home, flexible start and finish, 38 days holiday per year
SALARY: €4,000 - €5,500 per month + 8 % + bonus (Dependent on experience)
Mechanical Project Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Working history in the Oil and Gas or highly regulated industries
- Experience working with rotating equipment such as compressors and pumps, and with P&IDs
- Skills with standard design software (AutoCAD or Inventor preferred, will consider any)
- Fluent English is essential, Dutch is preferred but not essential.
The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for the mechanical project engineer to join them in their office based close to Utrecht, and that they would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the Utrecht region.
