Offshore Installation Manager
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) for temporary deployment on an offshore converter platform in the North Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair work during planned offshore campaigns, ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and effective management of offshore personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and repair activities on the offshore converter platform.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards during all offshore operations.
- Manage and direct offshore personnel, ensuring smooth execution of maintenance campaigns.
- Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and operations staff.
- Act as the primary point of contact for offshore operations, reporting directly to onshore management.
- Support emergency response and energy management protocols as per offshore safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in offshore installation management within energy, renewables, or oil & gas sectors.
- Strong knowledge of energy management and offshore maintenance procedures.
- Valid full basic safety certificates for offshore personnel (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, GWO).
- Language Skills: German (B2), English (B2) proficiency required.
- Ability to work in 14-day offshore rotations during the deployment period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on offshore converter platforms or wind energy projects.
- Familiarity with German offshore regulations and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
