Freelance Site Manager (On-Site)- 12 Months
Location: Erfurt and surrounding area
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: DOE

Our client, a global leader in telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to lead on-site operations for a major civil works project in and near Erfurt. You will be responsible for supervising a team of civil and QA/QC engineers and acting as the primary on-site representative of the client, liaising with subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Site/project Manager for at least 3 years (Vodafone/OXG projects are preferred)
- Fibre/Fibre experience is a must
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong professional civil engineering knowledge
- Experience in the operation of construction QAQC practices
- German speaking (B2/C1)
- Fluent English speaking
- Experience in working with sub-contractors to complete projects
- German driving license
- ZTVA and STVO knowledge is a must
Day to day activities:
- Oversee the client's team on-site civil engineers
- Oversee the client's team of on-site QAQC engineers
- Travelling to the different sites on the project
- Work alongside other sub-contractors on site to complete the project
- Represent my client on-site in a professional manner.
- Speak regularly in both English and German
- Meetings with Project Manager who will oversee you.
- Checking documentation and on-site activities in your remit
