Piping Stress Engineer
Project Location: Cologne, Germany
Working Arrangement: On-site 5 days per week. 40 hours.
Languages required: English and German (professionally proficient)
Rights to work in the EU REQUIRED
We are working with a client who's looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to work on an ongoing project in Dormagen.
Your responsibilities:
- Measure the effects of support settlement, safety relief valves, seismic loads, thermal cycle loads and wind.
- Analysis capabilities for Jacketed Piping system, FRP Piping system, Expansion joints piping system etc.
- Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by stress analysis calls for tender
- Evaluate pipe flexibility and stress analysis.
- Dynamic analysis capabilities including modal, harmonic and response spectrum analysis.
- Knowledge of piping codes and standards like ASME, API, IBR etc.
Profile requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Pipe Stress Engineering
- Good knowledge of CAESAR II modelling for piping systems.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a multi- discipline team depending on the task assigned or the work requirements.
