Project Planner

Project Planner (Primavera P6) - Berlin - Freelance

(Remote on Monday and Friday, Office-based Tuesday to Thursday)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Project Planner with expertise in Primavera P6 to join our team working on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the project activities to ensure the successful execution of HVDC projects. This is a hybrid role, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and office work in Berlin from Tuesday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules for HVDC projects using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define the scope, deliverables, and requirements for each project phase.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the timely completion of project milestones while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Regularly update and adjust project schedules to reflect changes and unforeseen delays.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key progress, issues, and risks.
  • Support resource planning by managing personnel, materials, and equipment requirements.
  • Manage project documentation to ensure proper record-keeping, tracking, and reporting of changes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous improvement of project planning practices.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

Kane joined g2 in April 2023 as an Academy & Systems Trainer.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
