Project Planner
Freelance Project Planner - Green Steel Project (Sweden)
Location: Sweden (on-site or hybrid depending on project phase)
Contract: Freelance / Contract (6-12 months, extension likely)
Start Date: ASAP or negotiable

Project Overview:
Join one of Sweden's flagship Green Steel initiatives, focused on decarbonising steel production using hydrogen-based technology. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver a high-impact infrastructure project that supports Europe's climate-neutral goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and manage project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Monitor progress vs. plan, report deviations, and advise on corrective actions
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
- Assist in resource and cost loading schedules to support project controls
- Support the client with risk analysis and mitigation planning
- Produce and deliver weekly/monthly reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings and interface with contractors and suppliers
- Ensure planning aligns with environmental and safety standards of green steel operations
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years' experience in project planning, ideally in industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
- Strong command of Primavera P6 or similar planning software
- Familiarity with EPCM environments or large-scale industrial projects
- Ability to work independently as a freelancer, managing own time and deliverables
- Fluency in English (Swedish is a bonus but not essential)
- EU Passport or Swedish work eligibility required
