About the Company:
A leading architectural consultancy specialising in large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK. With a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our dynamic team for a 12-month contract working on high-profile UK Rail infrastructure projects.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and coordination of complex rail infrastructure projects, ensuring high standards of quality, functionality, and compliance are met. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and stakeholders, to deliver integrated and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process for rail infrastructure projects from concept through to delivery.
- Develop and produce high-quality designs and technical drawings using Revit.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Prepare design reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Oversee project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
- Participate in client meetings and design reviews, presenting ideas and responding to feedback effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Architectural qualification (ARB / RIBA registered preferred).
- Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly within the rail sector.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work in-office (London) a minimum of 4 days per week.
