Your challenge

We are looking for an experienced Developer, as an ambitious and driven IT specialist, will strengthen our team as a Software Engineer, focused on developing the applications for the further optimisation of the complex chemical production processes within the client. In this role, you will be involved from A to Z and responsible for IT applications that our team develops within and for the client's production environment. Together with the client, you translate the technical and functional questions into software developments that you implement within time and budget and maintain after delivery.

Your responsibilities

· Design of software models in a Domain-driven way. You will translate the application requirements that emerge in consultation with the domain experts of production departments. This also includes the analysis of new and existing production processes and the execution of risk analyses in collaboration with the internal client.

· Implementation of software projects within time and budget using modern implementation techniques and technologies (.NET web API, Blazor, Oracle, Visual Studio, Git...), whether or not helped by recent Industry 4.0 concepts (AI, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Internet of Things, Mobile & Responsive Web...)

· Delivery of new and adapted software systems after coordination in terms of validation and acceptance with our key users in the production departments and using modern deployment techniques and technologies (Git, Docker, services, etc.).

· Maintenance and support of the existing and newly delivered MES applications according to the agreements made, including an important part of the legacy (PL/SQL etc.), which we systematically review in the context of our strategy and the current project portfolio.

Experience:

· You are fluent in Dutch and good English

· You are willing to work 1 day on site in Antwerp

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
